Budh Baridh™ Limited was established in the United Kingdom by Jagdeep Singh in 2021 under the auspices of Gurdev Nidar Singh Nihang, the 9th Gurdev (grandmaster) of the Baba Darbara Singh Akhara™.
In 1661, the same year of Guru Gobind Singh’s birth, this Akhara was established by the 2nd Jathedar (supreme head) of the Akali Nihang Singh Khalsa Buddha Dal (the foremost martial order of the Sikhs) named Akali Nihang Baba Darbara Singh (1645-1735) Today, Sanatan Shastar Vidiya™ is only taught in the Baba Darbara Singh Akhara; it is not found anywhere else in the world.
The sole purpose of the organisation is to promote Sanatan Shastar Vidiya™ globally and ensure the complete preservation of the art and its associated traditions for all time. Budh Baridh™ translates as “Ocean of Wisdom”.

We have specialists adept in research, translating and interpreting ancient texts, ensuring the authenticity and historical accuracy of our teachings. Our technology experts work hand in hand with product managers and designers to create digital experiences that are not only user-friendly but also immersive in the cultural essence.
We're also fortunate to have team members who are practitioners and teachers of these very traditions, bringing a living, breathing aspect to our work. We are located globally but are headquartered in the UK.
